CODE OF CONDUCT
Parents/Guardians
Encourage your children to learn the rules and participate within them.
- Discourage challenging or arguing with officials.
- Publicly accept official's judgement.
- Help your child to recongnise good performance, not just results.
- Set a good example by recognising good sportsmanship and applauding good performances for all.
- Never force your child to take part in sport
- Always ensure your child is dressed appropriatly for activity (see clothing )and has plenty of drink.
- Keep the club informedif your child is ill or unablle to attend sessions.
- Endeavour to establish good communications with the club, coaches and officialls for the benifit of all.
- Share any concerns or complaints about and aspects of the club throught the approved channels.
- Use correct and proper language and behaviour at all times.
- Never punish or belittle a child for poor performanceor making mistakes.
- Always collect your child promptly at end of session.
- Support your child's involvement and help them to enjoy their sport
GYMNASTS/PARTICIPANTS
We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all our memebers.The club belives it is important that members,coaches,administartors and parents associated with the club should, at all times show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others.Therefore, members are encouraged to be open at all times and share any concerns or compliaints that they may have about any aspects of the club with the nominated welfare officer (see staff ).
As a member of penznce Gymnatstic Club you are expected to abide by the following club rules
- All members must participate within the club rules and respect coaches, judges and their decisions
- All members must respect apponents and fellow club members.
- Members shou;d keep to the agreed times for training and competitions or inform their coach if they are going to be late or absent.
- Members must wear suitable clothing for training and events as laid out but the club (see clothing).
- Members must not smoke, consume alcahol or take drugs of any kind whilst representing the club at competitions or any other events.
- Members must inform the coach in charge of the session of any injuries or illness that they may have before warm up begins.
- Members must not chew gum or eat during trainin session.
- Members must not use threatening, abusive or intimidating behaviour or language.
